Privacy Notice & Terms of Use

Effective date: November 2, 2026. This notice explains how DCM Integrated Solutions Inc. and TES Group Inc. (“DCM”, “we”) and our affiliated companies handle personal information on the DCM Training site, training.dcmgroup.ca. We operate under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Why this site exists

DCM Training delivers and records mandatory health, safety and environment (HSE), quality and human-resources training for DCM and TES employees and contractors. Keeping a record of who has completed which training, and when, is a legal and contractual requirement of our work and is necessary to establish and manage your employment or contractor relationship with us.

What we collect

  • When you register: legal first, middle and last name, preferred name, email address and mobile phone number, and the company access code you were given. Your legal name is required so that your training record and certificate match your identification on site.
  • As you train: the courses you enrol in, lessons viewed, assessment answers and scores, completion dates, and certificates issued (including the certificate’s verification code).
  • Automatically: standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) and the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

  • To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
  • To deliver courses and issue certificates and wallet cards in your name.
  • To keep the company training record required by our HSE and quality programs, by clients and by regulators.
  • To remind you before a certificate expires and to contact you about your training (email, and by phone or text if email fails).
  • To let a supervisor, client or regulator confirm a certificate is genuine by scanning its QR code or entering its verification code — this shows only that one certificate.

Who can see it

Your training record is visible to you, to DCM’s HSE and Quality departments, to Human Resources, and to the supervisors responsible for your work. Completion records may be provided to clients and regulators when required by contract or law, and certificates may be verified by anyone holding a copy of the certificate. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Where it is stored

The site is hosted by Hostinger on servers located in the United States (Arizona), with backups in the United States (Boston). Email is sent through DCM’s Microsoft 365 service. Because the site data is stored outside Canada, it may be subject to United States law and accessible to authorities there under that law. Access is restricted to named administrators and protected by passwords and encryption in transit.

How long we keep it

Training records are retained for the period required by DCM’s records retention schedule and applicable law — seven (7) years after your employment or engagement with DCM, TES or an affiliated company ends (DCM-PR-AD-01-A, Documents and Records Management Procedure) — and then securely deleted. You may ask us to deactivate your account at any time; the training record itself is kept for the retention period because it documents training that was actually completed.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask questions or make a complaint about how it is handled. Contact DCM’s Privacy Officer: Kayla Gillingham, Human Resources Manager – Western Canada
Email: [email protected] · Phone: 1-780-464-6733 ext. 102

Your account and acceptable use

  • Your account is personal. Keep your password confidential and do not let anyone else sign in as you. You are responsible for activity under your login.
  • Complete training yourself. Completing a course or assessment on behalf of another person, or having someone complete it for you, is falsification of a safety record and will be treated as a disciplinary matter.
  • Register with your legal name as it appears on your government ID, so that your certificates are valid on site. Use the Preferred Name field for the name you go by.
  • Course content on this site is the property of DCM and its licensors and is for your training only; do not copy or redistribute it.
  • We may suspend an account that is misused. To have your account deactivated, email [email protected] from the address on the account.

Changes to this notice

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated notice.
